 If
asked what she feels most passionate about in ministry, our pastor,
Rev. Christen Pettit Miller, will tell you that it is tying together
the story of God’s invitation, God’s role in the world, and the
teachings of Jesus and then weaving them into the human story—our
human story. As a result of listening to the life stories of
her congregants, and after putting her finger on the pulse of
the concerns of our community, nation, and world, Christen seeks
with the discernment of the Holy Spirit to craft sermons that
will challenge, unite, and draw us further into a life of discipleship.
She considers vibrant preaching to be one of the marks of a vibrant
church and strives weekly to make that an earmark of life at
Peace.
